John-Marc Berthoud

John-Marc Berthoud founded Cornerstone Asset Management, Inc. with a distinct purpose; "to work for the client, not for an investment firm".  With deep roots as an educator, John-Marc works diligently to understand his client's life/wealth goals and then advises them on effective solutions that exist in the vast and often confusing world of investing and insurance.  John-Marc advises a wide range of clients from high-net worth individuals to corporate and trustee directed plans.  "My game-plan is simple", he says, "get to know the client; whether an individual, corporation, foundation/endowment, or union...discover what their goals are through in-depth discussions and then allow me and my team to do our research to bring the best possible solution to the table".   

John-Marc is a double-major graduate from Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio and received his Master's degree in "Linguistica Aplicada" (Applied Linguistics) from the Universidad de Las Americas-Puebla located in Cholula, Mexico. John-Marc has over 18 years experience in the financial services industry having worked for both Hewitt Associates and John Hancock prior to founding Cornerstone Asset Management in June 2001.  John-Marc holds financial securities license series 65.  He is also a licensed insurance agent.
